The Trump Administration Drops Reflecting Pool Vandalism Claims
Wait, so it wasn’t ANTIFA?

This is going to come as no surprise to anybody with at least half a functioning brain, but the Trump administration is finally acknowledging that the damage to the Reflective Pool was not the result of vandalism but rather of the recent rushed renovation project. The Department of Justice (DOJ) has dropped its criminal case against former Olympian David Hearn, whom the administration made the poster child of the vandalism claims they were making following false claims of 350-foot gashes with boxcutters, razors, and knives.
Hearn was charged with felony property destruction back in June, and the Department of the Interior was unable to submit documents on time to substantiate their evidence. This was obviously going to happen, as the DOJ, DOI, and other Trump officials had to fall in line behind President Trump’s fictitious claims of “radical left-wing” vandalism, no matter how absurd the claims he made. This is how the cronies in this corrupt administration operate. We are all well aware of it and fine-tuned to sift through the constant lies and deceit.
Prosecutors have finally placed the blame on Atlantic Industrial Coatings, which did the prep and paint work on the “American Flag Blue” base of the Reflecting Pool, which has disintegrated in large chunks and has also significantly contributed to the algae bloom dilemma. The initial estimate for pool renovations was around $1.5 million. The no-bid contract was won by Atlantic Industrial Coatings, and we are now at $16 million in taxpayer dollars and climbing. These Trump vanity projects sure do get expensive. The majority of the shoddy work has been attributed to the extremely rushed timeline to complete the painting project and any other renovations to the Reflecting Pool by July 4th for America’s 250th birthday. The pool was painted in time, but the paint job was already failing; the algae had largely taken over, and the pool was fenced off for the 4th of July celebration.
I have said this in previous posts, but this entire project has been an exemplary microcosm of the Trump experience. Trump and his administration having to tuck their tails between their legs in defeat because they could not corroborate the evidence finally completes the process here. Hopefully, this is the last time I have to comment on this story, but I have been surprised by this president dozens and dozens of times over the last decade and counting. I would not be taken aback if this renovation’s budget somehow suddenly triples, they try to arrest the Pope as a collaborator with ANTIFA ties to Aglae Blooms, or some other nonsense. This will not be the end of this story. I wish it were; I have much better “radical left-wing” energy to expend on more important topics.
