There is nothing new about President Trump’s behavior

It is no secret that Donald Trump is a perfect embodiment of rape culture in the United States. He has done nothing to hide his unabashed debauched view of women and, in some instances, minors. In 2023, he was held civilly liable for sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll. The infamous Hollywood Access tapes, in which he stated, “I’m automatically attracted to beautiful…I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab ‘em by the pussy. You can do anything”. This is a true testament to the depths of his depravity.
As much as Donald Trump is implicated in the Epstein files, we do not even need the files to determine his character. Even if all of his encounters with Jeffrey Epstein and the Epstein class somehow came out clean and he was acquitted of any illicit behavior, we should still take a great pause and note how disturbed this man has been before his obvious cover-up of the files. Let us look back at just a select few of the horrific comments President Trump has made over the years:
Entertainment Tonight
One of the earlier abhorrent public displays by Donald Trump was his 1992 interview with Entertainment Tonight. While being interviewed in the lobby of Trump Tower in Manhattan, Trump asked a little girl, who appeared to be around age 10, if she was going up the escalator. As she was ascending, he turned back to the camera crew and interviewer and said, “I am going to be dating her in 10 years. Can you believe it?” You know, a totally natural thing to say.
Ivanka Trump
Then, of course, there are the numerous lewd statements from Donald Trump about his own daughter, Ivanka. In an interview on The View in the mid-2000’s, he was asked if he would pose with his daughter for Playboy. His response, “I’ve said that if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.” If that’s not appalling enough for you, there were three separate occasions on the Howard Stern show where Trump admired his daughter.
In 2003, Trump said of Ivanka, “(she) is one of the greatest beauties in the world,” and then proceeded to compliment her body. In 2004, Howard Stern referred to Ivanka as a “piece of ass,” to which Trump concurred. This is obviously something any father would do if another man said that about his daughter.
Finally, in 2006, when asked if Ivanka had breast implants, Trump stated that she was “always voluptuous and tall, she’s almost 6 feet tall, and she’s been, she’s an amazing beauty.” Before any Trump supporters say, “that was all in the past, big deal. People change”, then you look no further than his first presidency. During his first two years in office, multiple aides reported Trump making lewd comments about Ivanka in front of them. So much so that his former Chief of Staff, John Kelly, had to intervene on multiple occasions and tone down Trump. I have no problem with a father adoring his daughter, but Trump’s view of Ivanka obviously goes well beyond any normal, digestible admiration.
Beauty Pageants
For those unaware, Donald Trump owned the Miss Universe, Miss Teen USA, and Miss USA beauty pageants for nearly 20 years. During this time frame, multiple women have come forward discussing Trump’s inappropriate behavior while running this operation. Both Miss USA and Miss Teen USA contestants have claimed he barged into dressing rooms while the girls were undressing or were half-naked. Since there is an austere amount of victim-blaming in the United States, or in this case, a lack of belief on behalf of the victims, take Donald Trump’s own word for it.
Once again, a Trump appearance on Howard Stern’s show yields insights into his behavior. In a 2005 interview, Trump admitted to going backstage to “inspect the contestants” while they were changing and stated, “You know, they’re standing there with no clothes…and I sort of get away with things like that.” Now, he never clearly states whether that was regarding the teen pageants, but the implications of either are deplorable. I will let you draw your own conclusions on the plausibility of the allegations from Miss Teen and Miss USA contestants.
I am in no way suggesting that Trump’s implications in the Epstein files and his parading around with that ilk of people is no big deal. He is obviously involved with nefarious individuals. This post is just a reminder of Trump’s behavior over the past several decades, leading up to the Epstein Transparency Act, which requires little to no investigative work. Once again, his own words are demonstrable. In fact, while educating yourself on his track record, there is no surprise in Trump’s involvement with Epstein.
